FISHING:The Tall Tale Page

The best part about catching a big fish, is being able to show it off and brag to other people, and on the internet, there is no limit to the number of people that can be reached! I love technology!

Unfortunately, the lawncare season in Elliot Lake, only lasts six months, so the other half of the year I am forced to persue other interests. Fishing takes up the greatest portion of my winter hours, as my wife will surely attest. Although I think a detect a smile from her as I head out on those cold mornings with minnows in hand, as it gives her some peace and quiet! We are definitely blessed with an abundance of lakes in this area, sometimes I stare at my fishing map for hours, unable to decide which lake I should try! Invariably I pick the wrong one, and sit on the lake, fishless mumbling 'I knew I should have went to that other lake!'

But there are days when my skill (or luck) pays off, it's sure not due to patience, and there is nothing like the tug at the end of the line that says fish... big fish!

Most of these pictures are from ice fishing, but there are some summer pictures of bass and pike thrown in, thanks for allowing me to indulge!
