COUNTDOWN TO YEAR 2000 - THE UPCOMING SOFTWARE CRISIS

SUDBURY, September 11, 1997. The Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario - Sudbury Chapter is presenting a seminar on Saturday, September 20 at the Holiday Inn on Brady Street which will examine the reasons for the upcoming software crisis in the year 2000.

The facilitator, Ros Firla, will present the options available to computer dependent companies and explain the possible remedies. The importance of developing and implementing modifying programs will also be emphasized and the consequences of taking no action will be revealed. Professionals and business people who utilize a computer in their day to day activities should find this seminar to be very informative and enlightening. Few people are fully aware of the repurcussions that the year 2000 will have on the computer industry. This seminar will give people the information needed to deal with this upcoming crisis.
