LEARNING ABOUT THE POWER OF PERSONAL PRESENTATION

SUDBURY, September 9, 1997. The Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario - Sudbury Chapter is presenting a seminar on Friday, September 19 at the Holiday Inn on Brady Street which will examine the importance of personal presentation for all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The facilitator, Gail Ann Friedlander, will explore the concepts of image and impact, as well as such topics as how others make judgments about you and why, how to get that competitive edge through the skills of positive imaging and how to identify what trends to follow and what to steer clear of. In addition, the seminar will go into identifying positive and negative body language and learning about the strengths and weaknesses in your voice. Any small business owner would find this seminar to be highly informative and enlightening. Effective personal presentation is a very important concept in any retail operation and should be given very high regard by anyone working in this industry.

In conjunction with this seminar, a plenary dinner will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn on Brady Street. The cost of the dinner is $35.00 including GST and the cost of the seminar, which begins at 8:30 a.m. is $60.00 including GST. The registration deadline is September 15.
