MEMBERSHIP FEES

The facilities at the club offer one of the most affordable ways of gaining a place to shoot. Membership is only $100 per year plus $45 (mandatory) insurance. All new members must have a PAL before being allowed to join the club. A family membership is $150 plus $80 mandatory insurance. New members should submit their application with a cheque at a meeting. (See contact information to obtain a membership application.)  New members are asked to attend a meeting to submit their application. A cheque in the amount of $145.00 (single) or $230 (family) is required with the application. This covers the dues and mandatory insurance. New members must attend the club orientation and safety course before access to the club is granted and before an ATT is obtained. New members must shoot at the range for a minimum of 6 hours with a club director before application for an authorization to transport form  - an ATT - (for pistols and revolvers) will be made. A new member may not bring a restricted firearm to the club unless he/she has an existing transport permit (ATT).

If the applicant cannot attend a meeting they may mail their application and cheque to:

Crean Hill Gun Club

P.O. Box 398

Naughton, Ont. P0M 2M0

New members must then attend a subsequent meeting.

Meetings are usually held on the 4th  Thursday of each month at 7 pm at the club. A notice of the meeting date will be mailed to all members 1 week prior to the meeting. There are some times when the meeting is held on the last Thursday of the month. The club does not hold meetings during July, August and December.

MANDATORY WORK REQUIREMENTS

The club is member driven, and has no maintenance staff. Standard cleaning, maintenance and upgrades are performed by the membership. To maintain a fair workload to every member, 6 hours of work at the club are required from each member per year. If for some reason a member is unable to complete his/her share of the 6 hours, a fee of $10/per hour not worked will be levied.
