BCI Crest           I graduated Grade 13 from Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute, Etobicoke, Ontario in 1982. (West end of Toronto)
BCI Bucaneers Football Logo - circa 1980-2           This is the logo of the Burnhamthorpe Collegiate sports teams - most notably the Football teams (Junior and Senior). As I recall, it was designed by the students (DO NOT quote me on that!:) and printed in a number of formats - the round sticker you see here was one such format. Originally, the sticker had a white shiney background. Time hasn't been kind to this sticker. :) It has spent it's life on my old guitar case and just got removed in 1999 and stored for safer keeping. :) This isn't the best copy, I have another sticker which is cleaner, except for a bit near the top. I had to do a little touch-up work on this one to clean it up.
I also have my school jacket (but my name tag came off). It is the "Hipster" model with the same logo embrodered onto the left breast and "Bucs" across the back. It is what I'd call an electric sky blue with red stripes with white accents on the sleaves and red accents on the pockets. It also has the red/white/blue repeated pattern on the elastic waist band of the jacket.
Also in my collection is my white football jersey - with the Bucs Logo on the shoulders and the large Red and Blue stripes on the shoulders (I still have one of the bland white jerseys with all blue trim - but the Fran uses it as a nightie:); the blue with red and white trim winter scarf with BCI Bucs on it; and lastly one of the white gym shirts (VERY well washed and wearing mighty thin!:) with blue trim at the collar and sleaves and the logo on the left breast.
If you have any such BCI memorabilia lying around your attic, you may email me or visit the Yahoo group I setup for our class. Oh yes, I even have all my Year Books for the years I was at BCI (Trident 1978-82).

I graduated as a Nursing Assistant from Georgian College in Parry Sound in 1992. I have been working as a Registered Practical Nurse in Geratrics, Alzhiemers and other Dementia disorders.
